About this website
This website, stlukes-clc.com, belongs to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Concordia Lutheran Conference in Seattle, Washington. The public pages are open to everyone. The members’ area is for members of our congregation.
By creating an account or using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Using the website and your account
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account, so let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.
- Accounts are personal. Please do not share your login or create accounts for other people.
- Your account may also work on two related community websites, partyatthepickle.com and slushsoftball.com. Many of our members use more than one of the sites, so one username and password signs you in everywhere. Not every member will want or need all three sites. Our Privacy Policy explains what is shared.
- You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. This also deletes your linked accounts on the other two sites.
A members’ area for our congregation
The members’ area is not open to the public. New accounts are reviewed and approved by the church before they can be used. We may decline, suspend, or remove any account, for example if these terms are not followed.
Please use the member directory only to keep in touch with fellow members of our congregation. Do not share other members’ information outside the congregation, and do not use it for advertising, selling, or fundraising for outside causes.
Church events and photos
Event dates, times, and places can change. We will do our best to let members know when they do.
When you upload photos, you confirm that you have the right to share them and that the people in them are comfortable with them being shared with our congregation. You keep ownership of your photos, and you give St. Luke’s permission to display them in the members-only area of the website. Photos are reviewed before they appear, and may be removed at any time.
Coming to a church event means you may be photographed and that those photos may be posted in the members-only area. To have a photo of you or your children removed, email admin@stlukes-clc.com.
Appropriate use
Please be kind and respectful. When using the website, do not:
- Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
- Post photos of people who have asked not to be photographed or posted.
- Share members’ personal information outside the congregation.
- Try to get into accounts or areas of the website you are not allowed to use, or interfere with how the website works.
- Use the website for advertising, selling, or spam.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, including how we handle mobile phone numbers and text messages. It is part of these terms.
Text message terms

- Understand that message frequency varies.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you change or give up your mobile number, please reply STOP from it first or let us know. Learn more on our Text Messages page.
Changes to the website or these terms
The website is provided as is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.
We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the website or our text messages at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
